I wish that it came in a ZIP file or somehow packaged so that we didn't have to sit and wait for a 17GB file to download. Looking through the reviews is hilarious.
You're all asking for features that weren't introduced until AOE2 - the original never had formations or gates for wall. I also saw someone complain about the fact that the stone age was the starting point, or that they couldn't get past the Iron Age. Did nobody ever play the original? It's always been Stone Age to Iron Age. Most of the poor reviews on this page are due to user ignorance, not any actual issue. I've always preferred the original AoE over the follow ups (AoE3 was the worst). In summary: Great upgrade on a great game, but needs to find a faster way to download.
