Adding custom hatch patterns to AutoCAD and AutoCAD Products using PAT files. Copy the PAT files into the default Support folder that AutoCAD uses to find hatch patterns. Added PAT files will cause hatches to be listed under the User Defined or Custom hatch menu within AutoCAD. Search for 'acad.pat' in your autocad support location and open with Notepad. Paste the following at the bottom of it: *Wood_1, wood hatch pattern.

To narrow down ' Cadalyst link, are the wood-related patterns they have [not all wood- grain, and not a lot that are, but still -- no app or membership required].
